Earthquake

If a serious earthquake occurs you should: 

With earthquakes, a significant hazard is a resultant fire.  Elementary precautions should be taken against fire or explosion by switching off domestic heating equipment (but not the building power supply). 

In a major earthquake you will be safer inside the building than outside.  Do not leave the building until the earthquake is completely finished and you are instructed to do so by the Chief Fire Warden.  In an earthquake it is likely that the alarm bells will be set off as a result of the movement.

People are to remain in the designated Assembly Area until instructed otherwise by the Chief Fire Warden.
